About Us
Michael Langford has been a travel agent since 1980. He started his travel career with American Express Travel and started Michael Langford Travel Services in 1988.
Mike has travelled extensively in Egypt, South Africa, Kenya, India, America and The Far East as well as North and South America. He has holidayed many times in Europe and America. He takes great pleasure booking holidays and trips with the same passion as if he was going himself!
He has achieved COTAC 1 and COTAC 2 travel qualifications (Certificate of Travel Agency Competence) and is a member of Harrogate BNI. He has also taught travel and tourism studies to students at Harrogate College.
Claire Marks has been a travel agent since 1992, starting with Michael Langford Travel as a trainee. After ten years (during which she obtained her travel qualifications) she took time out to work in Spain then spent a year travelling the world gaining first-hand knowledge of many countries.
She has visited North and South America, Australia, New Zealand, Bali, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Europe.
